I volunteer with an outdoor program called Near by Nature where I am in charge of leading sets of 5-10 kids varying in ages ranging from 6-11. I lead them on different "quests" each with different talking points through our beautiful Alton Baker park. We play games, learn songs and stories while learning about plants and animals, a bit of history or geological changes in our area. A very rewarding and fun experience.

Reading, doodling, cooking, movies, quizing, painting, and things tactile.

I will always love the memory or doing finger painting outside with this 3yr old boy and teaching him his numbers 1-10 and the start of the alphabet. He was able to proudly show his mom when she got home. :)
