I was 10 and babysat for 4 boys ages 1-7 for 5 years. I babysat approximately 15 hours a week. Social family. Our parents are still friends.
I was 12 and babysat a 2 month until he was 18-month-old afterschool. We both moved at the same time. His dad worked from home and he needed help. Mom was a nurse.
I was 18 and nannied 4 children ages 1,3,4 and a son was born 2 months after I started, in Smithville, MO. Worked for 2.5 years then they got divorced.
I was 21 and nannied a 2-month-old. His brother was born 10 months later. I was with them for 4 more months but had to quit because of college.
There are so many other families I have helped in my lifetime and have relied on me.

I was babysitting the family with 4 boys. The older 2 were at the creek behind the house and I was in the driveway with the 2 youngest. The 2nd to the oldest comes into the garage and says put your hand in this garbage can. I thought it would be dirt, but I could feel a snake and screamed and jumped. The kids laughed. About an hour later we all went inside and after dinner I went to sit on the couch, and I could feel that snake under me, jumped and screamed again. The kids laughed It was funny. They got me twice.
