My experience with special needs children...
I have had the opportunity to work with children with special needs through my experience at the daycare center where I currently work. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and creating a supportive environment where every child feels valued and included. I have learned that each child has unique strengths, challenges, and ways of communicating, and I enjoy taking the time to understand their individual needs so I can better support them. Working with these children has strengthened my compassion and adaptability, while also showing me how meaningful it is to help children build confidence, develop skills, and feel safe and cared for each day. It has been one of the most rewarding parts of my experience in childcare and has deepened my passion for working with and supporting all children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching my kiddo make his first step!! Just knowing that it’s a special moment, and watching his face light up after I started to clap for him and tell him good job. I was so excited to share the special moment with his mom and dad, so I had sent a video showing the first of many steps he would take.
