Trust. I think building trust with the kiddos and their parents solidifies the relationship between all parties. I want to trust you just as much as you want to trust me! If you trust that I’m a good person/nanny, you’ll never have to worry about the little things— like if your kiddos are being fed appropriately, going to bed/nap on time, etc.— and you’ll certainly never worry about their safety!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I adore when I get told by parents that their kiddos ask for me by name. It shows that I’m making a good impression on their kiddos heart and mind, which in turn solidifies their parents’ trust in me!
I had a kiddo who was as sweet as pie. I used to take her to the car wash every day after I picked her up from school- she thought it was the funnest thing ever!
