I love to go outside! We can go to the park, the library, educational and fun kids’ activities, I love to read and will read to your children for as long as they want. We can do arts and crafts, baking, science projects, and find books and activities related to your child’s interests.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Keeping children safe! Learning, having fun, and experiencing new things are all a vital part of a child’s development, but most importantly children’s safety must come first. I always double and triple check car seats, crib safety, proper food prep, avoiding choking hazards, and make sure to teach the kids about safety (I.e. crossing the street). We can have fun and be safe at the same time!

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children with autism, ADHD, mental health conditions, and Down syndrome. I also have ADHD myself and understand the experience of being a neurodivergent (former) kid in a world not built for our needs. I will work tirelessly to help your child feel safe and feel included in activities, and take to and from school and appointments if need be.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One summer I nannied for a family with two children. One of my favorite activities we did was going to the zoo and seeing baby penguins! The kids liked it so much, we ended up going to the library and checking out some penguin books so we could learn even more. For weeks after, the kids still talked about baby penguins and it made me so happy that the experience meant so much to them.
