A little bit about me

Mother of two grown and gone. While I parented in a more progressive manner, I would do it even more progressively now. Children are the future and should be treated accordingly. Too many see them as a <less than human due to size and needs. I’m the one who knows better than most, they are more like priceless jewels in need of the best care and attention. They are also little mad scientists trying to learn everything all at once. Their frustrations with us, require oodles of patience, understanding, and love.

Teaching our children to think and encouraging better decision making than those who came before us, is really important and should be taught by those they love and trust most. I actually write write about parenting/children/behaviors on a Q&A site. If you really wish to know me, you’ll get to know me pretty well there. My children have decided not to have kids, and I respect their choices.

However, I have a great desire to have children in my life and I know a position of this nature, will satisfy my maternal nature, as well as, be of actual use to others who have a need for a mature, responsible lady who loves children and would not only protect them with her life, but ensure they each Understood who it is they are. I am laid back, confident, and happy. I have no obligations and do not do drama. I don’t fuss, cuss, or have addictions of any kind. I can pass a bkgrnd ck and have a clean driving record.

I’m not interested in dating at my age and am pretty certain, I never will be again. I do have a specific parenting/mentor style I’m happy to share with the right family. I’d be in it for the long haul, so a long term situation is best. No ties makes me mobile, so even moving with a family is a consideration if needed.
