Hi there! I’m currently a Preschool teacher, and a mama, and I absolutely love children! Whether I’m being mommy or teacher, I am all in focused on not only caring for their basics needs and safety, but thinking ahead on their individual growth and milestones as a beautiful person. Children soak up EVERYTHING so we must be careful and what, and how, we teach them. Love, respect, self-regulation tools, and relationship interactions need to be built with careful intention. I have taken all of my trainings required by Tennessee to care for children, am CPR/First Aid Certified, and have been raved on by the state reviewers that have observed me teach. I am informed on Milestone Development standards. I do not take the care of children lightly. I gladly partner with all my children’s parents and will with you too! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am currently a full-time Lead Preschool Teacher at a Nature and Faith based Childcare Center where I care for children ages 2.5-5! I also have an almost 2 year old son:) I have babysat and helped with VBS in the past as well, along with holding children building workshops. I absolutely LOVE my students, and I know they love me too😊 But this mama misses her son dearly! As a teacher, I have experience caring for several kids at a time by myself. I am looking for a family who would want to welcome a loving teacher and mama into their home, along with my wonderful son! I have learned it is so important for children to have interaction with other children for growth! If you would like to talk more, I can’t wait to hear from you!!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I think anything hands-on is GREAT for children! Crafts of every kind, obstacle courses and blanket forts, and getting OUTSIDE (and maybe a little dirty😊)! Children are capable of more than you think and sometimes even love things like simple cooking and cleaning. They love to be helpers, especially when hitting 4 [(that’s a milestone btw;)] and we can’t forget tea parties and talent shows!! It’s important for kiddos to express themselves

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is the overall wellbeing of the child, and the child’s family! I want your child to be taken care of like I take care of my own. Partnering with parents is key, so I may best assist and aid in what you desire for your sweet child

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have any paid experience with special needs but have a friend that is! I am very intuitive, research everything, and willing to learn! I will always partner with parents in any way I can. My priority is making sure every child is well cared for and happy:)

The most important part about being a nanny...

There’s no way I can pick a favorite moment, BUT seeing a child implement the things you teach them with little “a-ha” moments, or deciding to not throw the toy because you taught them how to self-regulate, or even seeing them choose to give you a hug in the morning because they are just SO excited to see you are some of my favorite moments❤️🥹
