A little bit about me

With over a decade of experience as a nanny, I've enjoyed working (and playing) with children of all ages from newborns to teens, including twins. In addition, I've been a gymnastics coach, tutor, and babysitter. I can teach beginner to early intermediate piano starting at age 3 (or whenever they learn the alphabet) up to any age. I empathetically work with toddlers, children and teens that have ADHD, ODD, and anxiety.

Aside from my experience, I adore children, and I enjoy forming a bond with healthy boundaries with a child over time. I've dealt with all kinds of behaviors, temperaments, and sibling conflict and can confidently navigate challenging situations in a way that gives the child tools to cope independently over time. I have a natural skill for reading the emotions and intentions behind the behavior, and can convey my understanding of them and gentle guidance in a way children are receptive to.
