I am working in a school setting and have worked in schools/clinics pretty much continuously since graduating high school.I’ve learned SO much and love the kids I work with,but I’m feeling extremely burnt out and have started wondering if a change might be what I need.I have several years of experience with children of different ages, personalities, and needs,and I’d especially love to find a family with a child who needs some additional support,but not a position that is primarily intensive behavioral/crisis care.I have experience with AAC devices.If I were to leave my current job,I’d have very open times,with the exception of a family I work for M/W/Th and occasionally F.I need to be at their house around 4 so those days would depend on the location/commute.I’d be looking for $25+/hr and I know health insurance isn’t something every family can offer,but that would definitely be a huge plus since Id be leaving my job.I’d also love a family that is okay with planned time off/vacations
