Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a nanny for 5 years in college for a family with 2 boys. My time spent with them was the highlight of my weeks. I would always joke about how I would spend hours in the library to then go jump on a trampoline and hunt for slugs. Building curiosity and confidence in the boys was, in turn, building curiosity and confidence in myself. I am eager to bring that back into my life again.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I believe that spending time outdoors is so impactful and beneficial for young children. I enjoy taking kids on hikes, or just simple nature walks and scavenger hunts. Indoors, I enjoy making sensory bins, cooking, and arts and crafts.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is instilling confidence in children. As an extension of their primary caregivers, I focus on building trust, providing consistency, and creating a caring environment where kids feel safe to explore, learn, and grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite memories were when the boys would run out to greet me on the driveway, or when the youngest was so proud that he was fully potty-trained. I worked so much with him and his mom on this, and it felt very rewarding to help him stick to it and have success!
