More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began my journey in childcare shortly after completing my degree in Early Childhood Education. My academic background, combined with hands-on experience, has equipped me with the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. I have worked with families in various capacities, including live-in and live-out nanny positions, as well as providing occasional babysitting services.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Passionate about organizing arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and interactive play that not only entertain but also contribute to the child’s social and emotional development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is fostering a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most cherished nanny moments happened a few years ago with a bright and curious little girl named Emma. Emma, who was five at the time, had just developed a fascination with space and the stars. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and I decided to nurture this newfound passion by planning a "Space Adventure Day." We started our day with a visit to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Emma’s eyes sparkled as we wandered through the exhibits, and she asked endless questions about planets, astronauts, and the vast universe. Watching her face light up as she learned about the solar system and touched meteorite fragments was incredibly rewarding.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Washington, DC: Breanna C.
Hi, I’m Breanna! I have over nine years of experience as a professional nanny and am also a certified postpartum doula. Caring for children has always been more than just a career for me, it’s something I’m truly passionate about. Before becoming a full-time nanny, I worked as an infant and toddler teacher, which helped shape my understanding of early childhood development and the importance of creating a loving, supportive environment where children can thrive.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves. My approach to childcare is rooted in patience, kindness, consistency, and plenty of fun. Whether we’re reading stories, exploring outdoors, creating art, enjoying sensory play, or celebrating everyday milestones, I love finding meaningful ways to help children learn and grow while making lasting memories.
