More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Growing up a lady named Faye Baxter gave me the opportunity to run. Her daycare was called cabbage patch in Indianapolis Indiana. I ran that daycare for over 25 years. It was a great experience also being able to raise my children in a good safe environment. I have worked in rooms all the way up to after school activities with my older kids. I am a nurture I do care. I’ve also worked in School systems, Indianapolis, Indiana. I enjoy teaching in Elementary because I know how much they need the love and an attention. I am still a I nurture. I have 10+ grandchildren that’s included extended ones. Our kids are our future.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing activities with children’s of all ages. It gives them something to strive for to be excited and I enjoyed being a part of that just to see their smells the joy within anything that we do even if it’s just playing in the sand. I remember growing up mud pies was our thing 😂
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the parents are comfortable the kids are safe.
My experience with special needs children...
I know this is the most hardest and the most special gift that anyone can have is to work with a special-needs kid. I’ve worked in school systems where we had to assist children at that time. I was in special ed where the feeding tubes their wheelchairs and I know that these little ones younger ones need the attention the assistance just like anyone else I don’t have a problem with feeding tubes. I don’t have a problem assisting with cleaning up helping dressing bathing I can’t just imagine how a parent feels, but I’m so blessed to be a part of that I don’t have no problem being there for you and your family if needed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To be able to let the parents know that their kiddos are safe they can be able to have a break go to work without no worries without no hesitation that when they come home or pick their kiddos up that they were loved & safe. I always say your first impression is your last these kiddos are our world. The golden rule is a treat people kids like you wanna be treated. My favorite thing being a nanny or being there for parents is that when they see the love the smiles from their kids when they leave them or pick them up or better yet when the kids don’t even want to leave that is the best feeling ever.
