I worked in an Early Childhood Education Center for 3 years. In that center I worked mainly with Toddler-Preschool age, but have experience with Infant Care. After that I worked at a Summer Camp/Before and After School program. Where I catered to K-5 students. I have done 2 student teaching rotations in preschool. As well as babysitting experience on the side!!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a big craft person and love playing pretend. I love listening to all kinds of music and incorporating in educational songs. I’m not very athletic but I try my best to keep up with sports. I also can provide some homework help or small lessons with younger children!!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a sister who is 10 years old with high functioning autism. I also have experience with children with speech delays, hearing problems, ADHD, and autism in a preschool/school age environment. I have slight experience with children with more severe needs such as a feeding tube, and developmental delays.
