I’ve been a dance class assistant where I’ve helped kids tie shoes, blow noses, go to the bathroom, play games and learn dances. I also help out with DCGs little cheer clinic; helping the little cheerleaders learn cheers and play fun games! I’ve also babysat for some local families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything indoor or outdoor! I love to be active whether that’s walking, playing a fun game, swimming, or anything in between. I also love to be creative. This could be anything from painting to creating fun stories and acting them out. I also enjoy reading, baking, and listening to all sorts of music
The most important part about being a nanny...
Letting the kids be themselves. I never go in with a set plan for the day because you never know what kids’ creative minds are going to come up with. I go in with a rough plan and a couple ideas, but letting a kid express themselves around new people is super important!
