I love to read with them there are so many books that can be used if they need help calming down or getting their energy out. I also love being outside all the time when it’s warm out so much imaginative play can come from being outside
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love reading books with them and sometimes if it was a fun book I will try and make an activity out of it. For example one time we were using our imaginations to draw and color whatever we wanted so after we finished our activities, I read the book “The Day the Crayons Quit” and I was able to use that book to piggyback off another lesson I wanted to teach them about how we have to be considerate of our friends feelings and it was amazing to see the empathy in them.
