More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
- I am lucky enough to work with a wonderful family that has one 3 year old boy. Weather it’s a 3 hour shift or an 8 hour shift we have an amazing time playing , eating , and watching his favorite show. I am always happy to stay engaged and make a mini friend :)
-babysitting for my siblings: I have 5 nieces and 3 nephews that I have always treated like my own. I’ve learned a lot about kids, and how to play , communicate , and understand them from ages newborn - 12 years old
- I have volunteered at many children’s 5K run events for Halloween or Cancer awareness. I was either cheering on the runners as I provided water and snacks, making sure kids in the jumpy house are safe , hosting games , or face painting for the kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me , the most important part is nurturing. Being able to not only connect to but understand families on a deeper level, therefore building a safe, loving relationship, and offering a stable environment.
My experience with special needs children...
My nephew is a fully functioning five year old however due to complications as a premature baby he is still working on eating orally. In order to obtain proper nutrients, 5 times a day he gets a feed from his G tube (a button like insert in his belly). I have a lot of experience in starting and taking off his feeds, filling the backpack , controlling the rate, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was coming back and hearing the 3yo child I nanny for is telling his whole family about me ! It not only made me laugh because nobody knew who we was talking about , but made me ecstatic to know he considers me his friend.
