I am currently a RBT where I work with children on the autism spectrum age ranges from 6 months- 11 years of ages. Before this I nannied and babysat children age ranges 3 month- 10 years old. I also served as a catechist at my local church for a year, where I taught the values of the church to children ages 7-9.

I am a creative person so I love to work with children on their creative output, I am big believer that children need to display their imagination. I am not afraid to be goofy! Often the kids that I work with see me more as a friend than someone who is teaching them or taking care of them.

The most important part about being a nanny would be feeling welcomed and having a good rapport with both parents and kiddos. I want to feel more like a family friend who come to play than someone who simply sits on a couch with phone in hand while parents are busy.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would have to be when I was babysitting 3 siblings (ages 2, 4, and 7) during covid and I brought card board boxes we colored these boxes to make them look like cars, I put a move on in the living room and we had an indoor drive in movie! This allowed the kiddos I was working with be creative while drawing their cars as well as have the imagination to picture themselves outside of the house during such an isolating hard time.
