A little bit about me

I am 48 years old. Born and raised in NYC. Mother to 8 daughters, ages: [phone number hidden], including a set of identical twins. I recently gave birth to a son in 2023.I worked as an Executive Assistant in the fashion industry for many years. Completed a medical assistant program & worked at a doctors office & did marketing at a land surveying company.

I chose to be a stay home mom after giving birth to my twins & having more children. I didn't want to miss out on milestones, also did not trust just anyone to be around my kids. My daughters are all now school aged, therefore I am ready to start working again. Due to my own personal experience caring for my own children, I feel confident caring for other children as my own. I can be described as loving, caring, trustworthy and fun! I love teaching kids, reading to them, doing fun things such as arts and crafts, playing board games, going for walks, outdoor play and more!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I tutored a 2nd grader after school in our home for a few hours after school. He didn't know how to read, was not doing well in school. It was very rewarding to see him thrive and do exceedingly well.

During the Spring I babysat a toddler, in our child friendly home several late evenings, it was so nice to have a little one at home, it was almost like having a baby again, since my kids have grown past that stage. Also since I have all girls, we all enjoyed having a little boy at home! He still comes over on occasion.
I cared for a 9 month old boy 5mins from home, such a sweetheart, very nice family to work for. Most recently I am caring for a beautiful baby girl 3x a week, Full time hours, a family that makes you feel so welcomed that it feels like family!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I care so much about my own kids. It gives me great joy to see children learn, develop, advance in their milestones, school work. Its rewarding to see children thriving positively, knowing you were there to support them emotionally, academically, socially. I know how I would want my kids to develop in my absence, therefore I am eager to do that for working parents just the same.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When babies or toddlers i have cared for want me to pick them up and hug me then i rock them to sleep...so sweet! So great to have such a connection with kids, I feel that its a confirmation that they feel cared for and loved by you.
