More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience caring for children through both my healthcare background and my current work as a respite/habilitation provider. As a CNA, I worked in orthopedics, neurology, and pediatrics, where I cared for babies and children while assisting with their daily needs, comfort, and overall well-being. I also worked as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology office, where I regularly interacted with children and provided care such as preparing them for procedures and administering numbing injections. Currently, I work as a respite/habilitation provider, continuing to support children by helping with their routines, development, and individual needs. These experiences have helped me become patient, attentive, and comfortable caring for children in a variety of situations.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting out and doing fun activities with kids instead of just staying inside all day. Some of my favorite things to do are going to places like children’s museums, indoor playgrounds, parks, libraries, and other kid-friendly spots where they can explore and have fun. I enjoy finding new places to go, keeping them active, and making fun memories together!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny, in my opinion, is building a trusting and positive relationship with the child. I think it’s important for kids to feel safe, supported, and cared for while also encouraging their independence and helping them learn and grow. Being able to be a consistent and positive person in their life is one of the most rewarding parts of nannying.
My experience with special needs children...
Yes, I have experience working with children with special needs through my current position as a respite/habilitation provider. In this role, I support children with their daily routines, personal care, skill development, and individual goals while providing a safe and encouraging environment. I have experience adapting to each child’s unique needs, being patient, and helping them build confidence and independence. My healthcare background as a CNA in pediatrics has also given me experience caring for children with different medical and developmental needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Although I’ve had many amazing moments as a nanny, one of my favorites was helping my nanny kid poop on the potty for the first time. Seeing how excited and proud they were was such a fun and rewarding moment. It was really special being able to help them reach that milestone and watch their confidence grow!

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Gilbert, AZ: Deborah W.
I am a single empty nester. Fun, healthy, and happy! My love for caring for children started in Jr. High and I babysat and nannied until my freshman year of college. Since then I have raised 2 kids of my own, mostly as a single mom, worked for about 10 years in high-end retail, and I have recently been working in bookkeeping/accounting for 10 years. I feel no real reward in what I do, and I believe nannying will provide that for me. I am 49 years old, fun, healthy, loyal, playful, creative, nature loving, and I love all creatures.

Hi there, I'm Maggie! I have been babysitting every kid I could fit into my busy work and school schedule for the past for 6 years. I just completed my Associates degree and will be starting my Bachelor's in January! I also currently work with children teaching them gymnastics at The Little Gym. I primarily teach children from 4mo- 6 years old, but feel comfortable watching all ages, especially since I have 4 brothers, who I have been helping watch my whole life! I used to be a lifeguard, so I have First aid and CPR training. I also feel comfortable going in the pool with children, since I worked two busy summers at a water park! I am a very organized and timely person, who is so excited to provide you and your children with a safe and fun childcare experience. :)
