Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Very active, healthy and fun woman whose children are now out of college and on their own looking for a family who would love a mature, experienced and patient nanny. I can work odd hours, overnights or travel with your family. Retiring from health care job and looking to spend time enjoying fun activities with children again. I’ve been working in the bay area since January primarily for one family, filling in with other families as well .I also have been coordinator for a children's activity program thru the YMCA.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything outdoors is fantastic with children, even if it is looking at clouds or counting flowers. Love to swim, ride bike, walk, garden, etc. Many days spent creating masterpieces with sidewalk chalk. Master of blowing soap bubbles. Baking always fun activity. Happy to break into song and dance with little ones :).

The most important part about being a nanny...

So many wonderful moments. Here are a few my favorite:
When usually very shy, reserved 10-month-old Eleanor grab my cheeks and gave me a kiss.
Seven week old Neave giving me a big toothless smile when I made funny farm animal noises at her.
Teaching four year old Finn to not have meltdowns when something little didn’t go his way.
