Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a lifetime of experience in caring for children, starting as #3 in a line of 10 siblings. I am the mother of five grown children. I was actively involved in their lives, their education, and in the lives of their friends. As a RN for 30+ years my primary specialty was public health where which I both practiced and taught in nursing schools. Working with well babies and sick babies was part of this. I have worked with critically ill children as well. In addition to my career I have babysat other children and adolescents my whole life and enjoyed this very much which is why I am pursuing your application for help.

taking walks, reading to them, listening to them express themselves and engaging in conversations, going on outings, listening to music, singing and dancing with them. Providing structure, consistency and experiences to encourage self-direction and positive choices.
