Hello! I’m Nani, and I bring over 2 years of experience as a caregiver. Growing up in a large family with lots of little ones, I've always been drawn to childcare. I’m happy to assist students in any subject, with a particular love for math! In addition to my childcare experience— I played competitive volleyball for 12 years, eventually transitioning into coaching. I also competed in hula and tahitian dancing. I'm a huge animal lover, so caring for pets is no problem at all. Currently, I’m completing my prerequisites at community college with the goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. The most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the children and their families. Creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment allows children to thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally. It's not just about providing care, but also being a positive role model, offering guidance, and fostering an atmosphere of love and encouragement. A nanny plays a key role in shaping a child's growth, and being attentive, patient, and responsive to their individual needs is essential for helping them feel secure and confident as they explore the world around them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is the entire journey of watching a little one grow. When I first started nannying for a young boy, he was just 12 months old. Now, at 2 years old, I've had the privilege of seeing him transform into his own little person. Watching his imagination develop has been incredibly rewarding. We've shared so many special moments, like having dance parties, coloring all sorts of things, and simply exploring the world together. It's amazing to witness his growth and creativity, and I cherish every moment spent with him.
