Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have had the privilege of working in diverse roles that have provided me with valuable experience in understanding and nurturing the unique needs of children and adolescents. As a youth mentor at a group home, I was entrusted with the care and guidance of adoptive teenage girls, where I focused on creating a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment. This experience helped me develop strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to foster trust and emotional well-being in young individuals facing challenging circumstances.

Additionally, my role as a teaching artist allowed me to impart my passion for the arts and education to children in grades K-12. I designed and delivered engaging theater workshops that encouraged creativity, self-expression, and teamwork. This experience not only honed my ability to tailor educational content to different age groups but also reinforced the importance of fostering a love for learning and self-expression in children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

In my previous nanny role, I created a dynamic and enriching environment for the children under my care. Every week, we looked forward to 'Fun Fridays,' a special day dedicated to exciting and educational outings. These outings included trips to the amusement park, movie theater, children's museum, aquatic center, and various other engaging activities. Fun Fridays not only provided memorable experiences for the children but also allowed me to foster their growth, curiosity, and creativity in a fun and structured manner. I believe that a well-rounded upbringing includes moments of exploration and joy, and I am committed to providing a balanced approach to childcare that combines learning with laughter, adventure, and meaningful experiences.

What matters to me about being a nanny is getting to share the special experience of being an integral part of a child's development. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child grow and progress while in my care. It makes me realize that I largely influence and impact their lives

My experience with special needs children...

I have not had the opportunity to work with them quite yet but hope to have the opportunity to learn and grow from the opportunity. I'd be more than happy to provide care for those who don't have the same abilities that I have.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a unique name so my favorite memory is when all of the kids are able to learn how to pronounce my name and they laugh afterwards because of how cool my name is.
