I was a volunteer at a daycare for my 8th grade year. I also babysit friends and familys kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I would love to do fun and engaging activities with the kids indoors draw, play with toys, arts and crafts, bubbles bath if allowed, read, and if the parent allows it watch tv/movies. If the weather is nice out and not to cold we could go out doors maybe to a park, run around, bubbles, fingers painting, picnic, walks.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing is helping out. I know a lot of parents don’t have the time to be be there 24/7 with their kids because of work and other things and I understand. Kids are the cutest thing but are also a big responsibility and I feel I qualify to be a safe care taker for them when the parent doesn’t have the time. That is what I think is the most important for nannying and babysit!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I wasn’t a nanny but.. when I was volunteering at a daycare, every time I would come into the daycare all the kids would crowd up to the door and hug me and scream “ Hi Miss Natalie, we missed you!” it was the sweetest thing ever.
