I've been a certified teacher since 2014 - this means I have many hours logged working in all different classrooms! I've worked with Special Education, toddlers, and adults. I worked with Autistic students, Title I students, Special Needs Adults, and foreign students.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Being outside (I am a frequent runner and walker myself), reading, doing homework (very comfortable tutoring and understanding school curriculum), coloring/painting, playing computer games, video games, anything that children find themselves engaged in.

Having the child's best interest in mind at all times! As a nanny, you're an advocate for that family and their child. That means shwing up each day with and displaying genuine care and kindness to the child and family!

Special needs children are incredible and I have had the privilege to work with them in summer camps as both adults and children, in Autistic-specialized classrooms, and through my general experience as a teacher.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Seeing children and students I have worked with improve any sort of social or academic skill is worthwhile! Favorite moment would be when a student in 7th grade who struggled socially opened up to me and after working with her through the year, she left middle school as a confident and intelligent young lady who continues to shine to this day years later!
