"We were so fortunate to have Natalie as our nanny! She joined our family when our son was just 4 months old, and her impact has been incredible. The only reason we don’t need her help anymore is that he’s moving on to daycare, but it’s truly hard to say goodbye Natalie has been a wonderful part of our lives.
From the beginning, she showed such warmth, reliability, and professionalism. Natalie has a natural way with infants, and her attentiveness to our son’s needs was exceptional. She created a comforting routine with the perfect balance of feedings, naps, and playtime, and our son absolutely adored her.
Natalie also kept us well-informed, sharing daily updates on his milestones and routine changes. Her communication and dedication gave us complete peace of mind. She quickly felt like family, and any household would be so lucky to have her as part of their lives. We highly recommend Natalie to anyone seeking a loving, reliable nanny!
Will be reference!"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For three years as a teachers aid at a Montessori preschool and three more in daycare, I gained crucial experience in child safety and care. At the Montessori school, where kids are encouraged to explore freely, I learned to be quick and calm in handling injuries. I collaborated with teachers to create safety protocols, ensuring children could learn in a secure environment. In the daycare, my role expanded to managing routines, meals, and naps, all while fostering social skills and independence in each child. These roles taught me clear communication with both children and parents and honed my decision-making, adaptability, and patience. Building trust with families and being a steady presence in the children’s lives made this work deeply fulfilling. These experiences gave me essential skills for any child-centered environment and a strong appreciation for providing nurturing spaces that encourage growth and well-being.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Outside activities with infants, toddlers, and young children are all about engaging their curiosity and encouraging exploration. For infants, I enjoy sensory walks where they can observe and listen to nature feeling the breeze, watching leaves move, and hearing birds. For toddlers, I love simple activities like bubble play and water-based fun with safe splash pools, which let them explore cause and effect. Young children thrive with interactive games, so I enjoy scavenger hunts where they can find simple items like rocks or leaves. Chalk drawing on sidewalks, building sandcastles, and playing with balls are other great ways to keep them active. These activities help foster sensory experiences, coordination, and creativity, all while they enjoy the outdoors.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is creating a nurturing space where a child feels safe, loved, and free to be themselves. It’s not just about meeting their physical needs but about becoming someone they can rely on emotionally. Every little moment matters whether it’s a hug after a fall, sharing their excitement in discovering something new, or comforting them when they feel scared. Being a nanny is about showing up with patience and empathy, building trust and confidence in their young lives. It’s about helping them see that they’re valued just as they are, giving them a foundation of love and security that they’ll carry with them as they grow.
My experience with special needs children...
From ages 15 to 17, I worked with a young boy with autism, which was an eye-opening experience in understanding and embracing unique behaviors. One of his favorite activities was ripping up paper. To support this, we created dedicated ‘ripping time’ each day, where he could safely tear up paper, cardboard, and other safe materials. This activity was soothing for him and allowed him to focus, which made his day more structured and enjoyable. Working with him taught me the importance of building routines around his interests and using activities he found engaging. I also learned how to communicate in ways that respected his needs, like giving clear cues and using visual aids. This experience emphasized the value of patience, empathy, and creating a supportive environment tailored to each child’s needs, helping them feel understood and valued.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was on this rainy afternoon. We couldn’t go outside, so I grabbed some blankets, and we made a little fort in the living room. We spent the afternoon just hanging out in there, reading books, telling silly stories, and laughing. At one point, they looked up at me, hugged me tight, and whispered, “You’re my best friend.” It was such a small thing, but it really stuck with me. It reminded me that being a nanny isn’t just about taking care of a child it’s about building a connection that makes them feel safe, happy, and loved. Moments like that are why I love what I do.

Hi, my name is Areli. I’m currently an online student and also take some classes in person. I graduated high school two years ago. I speak both English and Spanish, and I enjoy working with children. Although I don’t have formal babysitting experience yet, I have cared for my younger siblings since they were babies, helping with feeding, diaper changes, playtime, and daily routines. This has helped me build responsibility, patience, and strong caregiving skills. I’m excited for the opportunity to gain more experience while providing a safe, supportive, and positive environment for kids.
Babysitter Available in San Jose, CA: K'Aaliyah M.
Hi! My name is K'Aaliyah (ka-lee-uh) I am currently a Freshman here at SJSU majoring in Advertising with hopes to work in Sports Media someday. I'm from Sacramento, Ca and I'm really great with kids as I am the oldest out of 4. The reason why I'm choosing to become a nanny/babysitter is because I noticed myself being cautious of younger kids al the time whether I know them or not. This one day I decided to take a walk to the park for some fresh air and just relaxation and I noticed a little boy playing all by himself. I feel like my older sister instinct kicked in immediately as I noticed his parents weren't on guard--they were sitting in the car, and strangers were constantly circling around the park. It felt weird for me to even leave and it made me realize being away from home sometimes does get a little emotional for me because I'm always missing my siblings and that day at the park made me realize I wanted to be around kids or just be on a lookout. Thank you for your time
