I was a full-time nanny for a family of a two year old when I lived in Idaho. I have worked as a behavior support specialist for after school programs in San Diego county, an intervention specialist in Idaho school district, along with getting my masters in marriage and family therapy and working within the county at a child and family therapy clinic.

I love spending time with children outside, diving into their world of creativity, curiosity and imagination. Play is such a huge part of a child’s development, so I will never say no to block building, princess playing, art shows or anything in between.

The most important part about being a nanny to me is safety and making sure that the family knows they can trust, rely on, and be supported by me! Bringing a stranger into your home, especially taking care of your children, can not only be scary but a risk. Having someone with experience, who is educated, and also who has a natural gift of working and being around children is so important!

I have an extensive history of working with children who need extra support or adjustments. With my job history and current education, I have worked with children who has Autism, neurodivergent, non-verbal, or who use communication devices.

Is seeing children blossom into who they want to be. Children bring so much joy, love, and light into this world and I’m always grateful when a child allows me into their world. Kids also say the funniest things where I have too many stories to share there.
