Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite activities to do indoor are reading, drawing, painting, build/creating things, playing hide and seek, board games and science experiments. Anything to keep a kiddo entertained and engaged. Outside, I love playing soccer, basketball, bike riding, red light/green light, Duck, Duck Goose or maybe just a nice walk to observe nature. It’s never a dull day with me!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The relationship between the child/children and I. I want the child/children to be able to be comfortable with me. The comfort will create a great environment and a great relationship.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never dealt with special needs children. However, I’m open to learning and getting certifications to do so. I’m patient and caring. I believe any child is great to look after with patience and care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I couldn’t choose between two so I’ll mention both. For the past two years, I’ve celebrated my birthday with the kid I nanny and and we ate cheesecake and played all day. I loved it.
My second favorite would be the day when the kiddo i use to nanny spent all day a trail building a teepee out of branches and leaves. It was an amazing and fun project. I took a picture of him in the teepee and his mom printed it out and hung it up. It’s my favorite picture of him to date.
