A little bit about me

I'm a dual US/Norwegian citizen based in Sioux Falls, where I work full time at a private school with elementary age kids. I've been babysitting and nannying since my teens in Norway, and have cared for children as young as two (including2-year-old twins!).

I'm a big believer in screen-free, hands-on childcare- getting outside, getting messy, reading books, helping with chores, and yes, even being bored! That kind of freedom is where kids grow their independence, grit, and resilience as human beings.

I have a background with horses and dogs, so pets are no problem. Nonsmoker with a reliable vehicle. Available most weeknights and every other weekend, with more flexibility in summers and school breaks, including short-notice coverage for that date night you've been putting off!
