The most important part of being a nanny is providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and feel loved. It’s about building trust—not only with the children, but also with their families—while encouraging healthy development, positive routines, and meaningful connections through patience, consistency, and care.
My experience with special needs children...
I have informal experience working with individuals with special needs through volunteering at my high school, where I regularly helped out in special education classrooms. Additionally, I have personal experience growing up with a deaf sister, which has given me a deeper understanding of communication challenges and the importance of patience, empathy, and inclusion. While I haven't had paid experience yet, I am passionate about supporting and connecting with individuals with diverse abilities.
