Hi there! My name is Nevaeh, and I’m currently working as a trauma specialist with teens. I’ve been caring for little ones for as long as I can remember, and it’s truly something I love.

I bring a wide range of experience working with children of all ages, personalities, and needs—including those with special needs. I always strive to be gentle, patient, and supportive with both parents and kids.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been actively involved in volunteering with my church for several years, which has deepened my passion for working with children and families. I also spent a full school year serving as a teacher’s aide, gaining hands-on classroom experience. In addition to babysitting and nannying, I currently work with teenagers in a trauma-informed care setting. I’ve also provided respite care for children with special needs and, during high school, volunteered at an elementary school multiple times, where I led engaging art activities for young students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love hands on activities like play dough, arts and crafts, cooking or baking, and reading. I also love chalk, bubbles, and hiking with kiddos! I value real life skills and being outside as much as possible.

The most important aspect of being a nanny is providing a nurturing and safe environment where children can thrive. Through my experience working with teenagers who have experienced trauma, I have seen firsthand the impact that a lack of routine, nurturing, and connection can have on development. This has reinforced my commitment to fostering secure attachments, consistency, and emotional well-being in the children I care for. I prioritize creating a stable, loving environment that supports their growth into happy, healthy, and confident individuals.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for a 5 year old boy with autism and physical disabilities. I have cared for a deaf toddler. I have also cared for a baby girl suffering from seizures.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most recent favorite moments was seeing the first little girl I nannied for make me a friendship bracelet, I started working with her when she had 6 words in her vocabulary!
