Hi, Im Nevaeh! I have babysitting experience, including having a paid job of watching three children of different ages for a range of periods of time watching and my own brother and cousins. I am the manager at Kumon tutoring center, working with all different ages with learning and behavior, and having private at- home tutoring lessons outside the company! I want to be become a teacher and teach middle school students in music! I love engaging with kids and hope to make a bright impact in their lives, no matter the amount of time! I want to not only bring joy to the children, but help the families take a load off and give support however I can! I am completely okay with housework, food prep, bedtimes, daily routines, running errands, and helping with any pet tasks!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a tutor at Kumon tutoring center and head assistant of the center, working with children anywhere from 3-18l. I've worked as a babysitter for multiple families with ages 4-9. I have been a camp counselor in Tennessee as well as been volunteering as a counselor at the Sandhills STEAM camp for over 3 years now!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love watching movies, playing outside, baking and cooking, playing dress up, karaoke, and anything outdoors with children. Getting their energy out and moving around, while also being silly and having fun is important for children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a babysitter is being able to create joy for a child. While my schedule does not allow for full time positions or being a nanny, watching children is just as important and still gives time to teach them and create a positive affect on their mobility or mentality.

I work with many children with special needs as a tutor, helping and guiding them through the learning and activities the way that that best benefits them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I will never forget the very first time I babysat for my bosses family! I was excited, working with three beautiful and sweet little girls. I didn't know exactly what I was doing but we had a blast, doing karaoke, watching movies, playing just dance, and going on a bike rides. It was such a heartfelt experience. I didn't know how well I was or if the little girls would even like me, but as I was leaving, they all ran and gave me bighugs and asked when I would be back. That moment made me just melt! I realized that creating those smiles and so much happiness was exactly something I wanted to do!
