Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Sometimes I draw with them and help them write letters (3-9 years old typically). Other times we play active games like hide and seek, tag, freeze tag, and ball games. For babies, I like to watch cartoons so sometimes they watch with me and we sometimes played with toys together. For the more mature ones they help me cook and help clean with me and we go to the park and watch older tv shows like Good luck Charlie and Teen Titans.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To be able to understand what certain crys are or to make sure, if there if more than one kid, to make sure no one feels left out or less important.
My experience with special needs children...
My nephews mostly my youngest one (6 year old male). He got most of his problems from his mother so if it's not cared for he can panic or cry and it takes forever to calm him down. He has ADHD, sonophobia/Hyperacusis, and he's autistic. He's getting better at controlling his symptoms.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My nephews and my aunties foster kids (in total 6 children under the age of 10 but above 2) were making sweets and whipped cream got on my nephew and everyone was laughing
