More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My first introduction to working with children was as a daycare employee throughout high school. One of my favorite experiences working with kids was at an arts and crafts camp.

Additionally, I long term nannied for two wonderful families and have worked at Deer Valley Daycare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to get kids outdoors whether it be on walks, in the backyard or to the park. It was also common in my past nanny roles that I provided entertainment for the kids such as craft time, library visits or baking. I love any activity that helps build a positive core childhood memory for your kiddos.

The most important part about being a nanny...

In my opinion, the most important part about being a nanny is remaining warm, consistent and present with the children! I love to practice my active listening skills with kids. It is amazing to watch tiny humans blossom before your eyes when they feel fully understood, despite them expressing a negative or positive emotion.

My experience with special needs children...

My sister has worked with special needs children for 10+ years. This is a topic we discuss often. Additionally, I volunteered at an afterschool program in high school for children with special needs.
