I was a nanny for a wonderful family in Minneapolis for 3 years as well as have experience working in child care centers! I got to see two amazing twin boys grow in confidence as I had them going into middle school and then leaving them as they entered high school. I also have experience caring for children in more non traditional settings such as a marina where the care was done in boats always surrounded boy water.

I really enjoy into music, art, dance, reading, playing pretend, and working on social emotional or physical skills. An example of the last two would be learning about care/empathy or improving their fine motor skills.

Safety is by far the most important aspect when it comes to nannying in conjunction with aligning oneself with the techniques already present in the home, and listening to how the parents want things to operate cause every home is a little different.

Not a particular moment but one of the major things I tried to work in with my last two boys was gaining confidence. Not only in themselves and their abilities but also socially. Overall getting to see or even know I’ve been a part of a child’s growth for me is a favorite nanny moment.
