The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is keeping the kids safe. That means sometimes they get mad at me, but keeping them safe is more important than the kids liking me every second. We still have plenty of fun!
My experience with special needs children...
My oldest nanny boy in Queens had sensory processing issues where he experienced sensory overload. I also watched a kid about 10 years ago that probably had bipolar disorder. I have cared for a child on the spectrum level 2 here in Idaho.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I loved being a nanny back in Queens and it's hard to pick a favorite moment. I loved it when the baby smiled at me from the stroller, or holding her and sitting on the swing in the park, or going sledding with the boys in the winter or taking the boys for bike rides around the lake at the big park.
