I have babysat for many families, along with track camps for children of many ages. There is also a camp called, I can bike, that I helped with for about a week!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outside playing at parks or just doing games around the yard. I also love sitting down inside playing board games and drawing. Anything that keeps the kids and I moving.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny, a babysitter, or even a childs friend is important all on its own. Building a relationship with a child is the most wonderful feeling and you know that they will be so excited and happy to see you every time! That is what is important to be, gaining their trust and making them happy.
My experience with special needs children...
As I mentioned before, I have helped at many camps. There was a camp called, I can bike, and that was for special needs children. I had one child that I was working with and it was a wonderful time, but it was only one kid that I was with.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The best moments that I have had when babysitting kids is when they pick the game to play. I love the games that they make up and how creative they get. When I was younger I would create the weirdest games to play and so I love when kids do the same.
