More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered in orphanages in Colombia, where I supported the care and development of children in different age groups. This experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of creating a safe and loving environment for every child.
In addition, I am a graduate in Communications, which has given me a creative mindset that I apply when planning activities, games, and educational support for children. My background helps me encourage learning in fun and engaging ways while strengthening their social and cognitive skills

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing creative and educational activities with children, such as arts and crafts, reading stories, and fun games that stimulate their imagination and critical thinking. I also love cooking or preparing simple, healthy snacks together, encouraging them to learn about food in an interactive way. Outdoor play, dancing, and sports are also activities I enjoy, as they help children stay active while having fun. Additionally, I like supporting them with homework and extracurricular projects, making learning an enjoyable experience.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is valuing childhood as a unique stage that shapes a child’s emotional well-being, confidence, and creativity. I believe in creating a safe and loving environment where children feel supported, respected, and encouraged to grow in a healthy way—mentally, emotionally, and socially. For me, being a nanny is not only about care, but also about guiding children to enjoy their childhood with balance, responsibility, and joy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when a child I cared for took their first steps while I was with them. It was such a beautiful reminder of how meaningful it is to be present in a child’s growth and development. Moments like that—seeing their progress, their smiles, and their confidence grow—are what make this work so special to me.

Hello, I am Yulliam Ogando. I go by she/her. I am located in Brooklyn, and am 20 years old. For starters, I love to exercise, draw, sing, listen to music, journal, meditate, dance, poetry, read, and write. In short, I am a jack of all trades, master of some. I am open to new experiences and hobbies. I am patient, lively, warm, fair, and nurturing! I am in current pursuit of a doctorate’s degree in psychology. I absolutely adore children. While I have no paid experience working with children, I do have generic experience with children.
