The most important part about being a nanny...
I think what matters most about being a nanny is always having your eye on the child making sure they are safe. I also think it’s important to make chores seem fun so that it encourages them to want to do it in the future. I think the child’s opinion is also important and knowing how to help children express how they feel in a calm way.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked as an intern for my aunt who is one of the board members of a special needs school and I spent three months there doing basic chores, making food and cleaning up after them but also learning how to accommodate to them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It was when I babysat a 5 year old girl and she started out shy but once she got to know me she wanted me to do everything with her! Her mom came home early one night and asked if I could stay anyway so we could all watch a movie together. That growth was amazing!
