A little bit about me

Hi! I’m currently a lead toddler teacher at a daycare and have been a nanny and household manager for a little over 8 years. Prior to being a nanny I was a lead preschool teacher for over 3 years. I have experience working with infants to 12 year olds. I love to be very active with the children and learn through play. I enjoy reading books together, dancing to music with them and lots of outside playtime. I enjoy going places with children like the library and the park. I can help out with light housekeeping, for example helping with grocery shopping, children’s laundry and of course cleaning up after our day of play and adventures. I am currently a lead toddler teacher at a daycare, and previously I have worked at a top daycare in Bellevue for over three years as a lead preschool teacher. I have also done a lot of work as a date night sitter for families in the past.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to read books, pretend play, dance to music, do puzzles, build blocks, go for walks to the park or around the neighborhood. I enjoy taking children on field trips to places like the library and even the zoo or aquarium. I enjoy child led activities and helping children learn through play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The thing that matters to me the most when being a nanny is first and for most the childs safety. I love making sure that children are taking care of with a loving person in a small setting. I enjoy the one on one care and helping parents know they can leave their child with someone and not have to worry about them. I love being able to help make the parents lives easier by helping where I can.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny is when I’ve been working on an art project for a holiday with them to give to their parents and to be able to see the light in the child’s eyes and the joy on their face when they hand their parent an art project they are proud of for creating themselves is priceless to me. I also love helping children read and learn new words and when they read a word and get it is such a wonderful feeling.
