I have done many volunteer work where I cared for children such as mission trips down to Rocky Point to the orphanages. I also interned at a middle school where I was co counselor and worked with many ages of children there. I have my degree in social work, which gave me even more insight and opportunities to care for kids.

The most important part to me is that the child feels loved, cared for, supported, and confident with themselves and has their own autonomy. While I was counseling at a middle school, I worked closely with special needs children and grew close relationships with them where a comfortable, safe environment was created.

One of my favorite moments was when I was taking care of three siblings and they wanted me to pull them around on the tile floor with blankets, we were all cracking up, having a blast, and I think it's a memory we will all never forget.
