Hi! My name is Nikita & 23 years old and newly married. I have plenty of experience with children even though I have none of my own. I have lots of siblings and cousins that I’ve taken care of since I was a child myself. I have 3 godchildren; one of them happens to have autism. I, myself, never had full on parents but that probably made me love to care for children & animals. I love cooking & trying different recipes. I’m currently studying psychology because I want to possibly be a children’s counselor. I love music & being creative so i feel like that’s important with kids to help stimulate their brains. I’ve nanny/sat 22 children & still close with most of the families. Hoping to give a family secure, reliable assistance.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have LOTS of siblings & cousins.. Everyone always tells me if they ever have kids, they’ll just bring them to me. I’ve worked for 7 families & I’ve had nothing but great reviews on Care. I’ve sat & been a nanny for over 22 children. I have great patience for kids but I’m also very stern. I’ve been watching & caring for children since I was a child myself. Kids LOVE me & they always become like family to me.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

painting, swinging, learning, coloring, singing, and creating in general. I love when kids ask questions because they have A LOT & I was one of those kids before.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Good intention. You always have to have the best intentions. Every child isn’t the same. You have to go through different things with different ones, and you have to handle things differently as well. It’s all about the intention & what you teach them. Also it’s important they know they’re safe with you.

My experience with special needs children...

My godchild has autism and he’s so affectionate but i promise he can be a piece of work when he’s not in the mood. He screams, stomps, throws things and all of that but i just take it as frustration that he can’t communicate what he wants completely just yet. I try my best to understand but they’re all still normal babies. You just have to learn they’re triggers & coping skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Well my first godchild was still in the potty training stage. He was told NOT to poop in his diaper. He came in all excited like “I pooped, I POOPED! He didn’t have on his diaper & went to look & see. He pooped… on the carpet.
