Hi future nanny family, I hope you are doing amazing!

My name is Nikita, I'm 25 and originally from Germany. I am currently going to school to study Psychology and Nutrition at SJSU.
Prior to my studies I was an Au Pair for 3. 5 years and have been a nanny for the past 2. 5 years.

I am fully vaccinated and CPR certified for all ages.
I have 8 years of experience and been full time nannying the past 6. 5 years ages 0-12. Most recently I cared for 2 families who included an 8 mont old and 3-year-old, as well as a 3, 7 and 9-year-old. As an Au Pair, I worked with mostly 3 kids per family ages 2-9. Recently I tutored college students at my college in English, Biology
and Psychology so I'm a great homework helper!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 6.5 years of childcare experience, with 3.5 of those years as a live-in au pair. During that time, I cared for children from toddlers to pre-teens, often balancing the needs of three kids at once. My responsibilities included school runs, meal prep, helping with homework, bedtime routines, potty training, I cared for infants so sleep training and planning engaging activities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

This depends on their age, but some favorites are arts and crafts, reading stories, baking simple recipes, and outdoor adventures like going to the park, hiking, or playing games in the yard. I love encouraging both creativity and active play, helping kids learn and explore while having fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where kids feel supported to be themselves. Being a nanny isn’t just about supervision, it’s about building trust, encouraging growth, and becoming someone children can rely on while also giving parents peace of mind.

My experience with special needs children...

As an au pair, I’ve cared for children with autism and ADHD. I’ve learned how important structure, patience, and positive reinforcement are, and I always make sure to provide a supportive and encouraging environment tailored to their needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments are always the ones where I truly feel like part of the family and get to watch the kids grow and develop over time. Seeing their personalities shine through, celebrating their little milestones that I can be a part of, and knowing I played a role in supporting their growth has been the most rewarding part of being a nanny.
