I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and am CPR, First Aid & AED certified through the American Red Cross. My background includes nannying, early childhood education, and Montessori-inspired care.

My experience extends beyond nannying and includes working in early childhood education in both teaching and leadership roles. I have experience in Montessori-inspired education, childcare centers, church nursery and children’s programs, and leading children’s groups during mission trips. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked with children across a wide range of ages, developmental stages, personalities, and needs. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of child development while reinforcing what I value most: building trusting relationships with children and families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love activities that get children creating, exploring, learning, and having fun! Some favorites include arts & crafts, science experiments, sensory activities, imaginative play, board games, reading, outdoor exploration, nature walks, playgrounds, splash pads, and age-appropriate outings. I enjoy following each child’s interests and finding creative ways to turn everyday experiences into opportunities for learning and discovery.

The most important part about being a nanny...

…is building a relationship where a child feels genuinely safe, loved, understood, and free to be themselves. I love watching children grow and develop, but I also believe every child develops differently and deserves to be met exactly where they are. Being trusted with someone’s child is something I take seriously. I want parents to feel confident that while they’re away, their child is not only safe and cared for, but known, encouraged, and genuinely loved.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for and working with children with a variety of developmental, learning, sensory, behavioral, and physical needs, including Autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, sensory processing differences, asthma, and mobility challenges. I believe strongly in meeting each child where they are, learning their individual needs and strengths, and adapting my approach so they feel safe, supported, understood, and included.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when a 3-year-old I nannied told me I was “the sweetest and kindest mom she knew.” 🥹 Of course, I made sure to tell her mom! It was such a sweet (and funny!) moment, but it also meant a lot to me because it showed how safe and loved she felt in my care. Those relationships are one of my favorite parts of being a nanny.
