I completed 2 months of volunteer work and training at, Spirit at Play Early Childcare Center, from June through August of 2011. This was following two semesters of early childhood education as well as first aid/cpr training through my high school.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing board games and other recreational activities, reading books, arts and crafts like painting, coloring books, pastels, sidewalk chalk, etc. Safe and fun sports and exercise, nature walks, and going to the park and the swimming pool during the summer.
Also, as a trained musician, I enjoy introducing the world of musical instruments to kids as well as teaching basic skills to early learners.

What matters most to me is being able to watch kids learn and grow. You develop a relationship that lasts with them while they are discovering what life is about and I think that impression lasts a lifetime!
