A little bit about me

I am a psychology major/biology minor at Texas State, looking forward to graduating spring 2024! I have always enjoyed working with infants, toddlers and children. My previous jobs have involved working in childcare, from nannying all ages and abilities to working as an assistant teacher in schools. I am the oldest sister of 4 so my experience growing up has made me into an attentive, patient, and caring nanny who knows the importance of keeping children stimulated and comfortable at the same time! I have a good amount of experience working with differently abled children, and specifically children on the autism spectrum as a nanny and assistant teacher.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many favorite nanny moments it is hard to point out just one! One of them would be helping one of my kids with memorizing his script for a Mary Poppins play, then getting to watch the opening show! It was a proud nanny moment. Another one of my favorite moments would be nannying an infant from 6 months until 18 months and getting to see the baby take his first steps! I cried right alongside mom.
