More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Other then being an co assistant for a day care… I recently volunteered to help the River City’s Food Bank , that doesn’t really have anything to do with kids but we used to have ceremony’s were we would run around and play with the kids after giving them a hot meal .
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I know a lot of this might sound like a mess!! But I love to play in sand , a little Water Play, Play Dough, Play Dress-Up and Role Play. Like Charades, Doll and Action Figure Play, Drawing and Painting, Blocks, Jigsaws, and Shape Sorters .
The most important part about being a nanny...
An important skill for nannies is strong verbal communication. This means both speaking and listening. We must be able to communicate well with parents to understand the specific needs of their children. If im unsure, I know it’s best to always ask questions to get all the information I can about the child I’m taking care of.
You also need to communicate effectively to the children. You’ll need to assert your authority, but work with them, not against them. It’s important that you don’t speak to the children in a patronizing tone as they won’t be as receptive.

My experience with special needs children...
Not much experience… But honestly is no difference between the 2 just have to be more calm , patient , caring which all of those 3 describe me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There are so many hilarious things that I’ve heard from my aunties day care kids over the years! A short but sweet one from a 2 year old was:
Me: "Mummy says the museum sounds like a fantastic birthday idea, and that she hopes you are super happy this morning."
2yo: *huge smile*
Me: "Are you super happy?"
2yo: “No" *huge smile*
Me: "What are you?"
2yo: "Awesome." 😂😂
