More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

helping out at my schools preschool. For the early childhood education course we had this preschool were little kids would play in. We would teach them lessons, and make out teaching plans that worked for them. While also studying on how best to help them for their development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy drawing with kids. As a person who enjoys talking often, drawing is a way for me to talk and get to know kids. I also really enjoy teaching them games I grew up with as a kid. Like Miss Mary Mac, and other rhyming games. That way that have some other things to stimulate their brains.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is communication. When I look back at the times I had with adults as a kid I realize I only got along with the ones who actually listened and talked to me, and not at me. Not only do kids pick up on things quickly but they understand when they aren’t being treated correctly, so it’s important to show them early on how much you appreciate their thoughts, and opinions. I also think communication is something important when it comes to parents. Me reporting back on anything unusual and also me taking notes on what more I need to improve on.
