More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Au pair for the past 2 years.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes my role as an Au Pair. In this position, I provided full-time childcare, including supervising daily activities, preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene, organizing educational and recreational activities, helping with school routines, and ensuring the children’s safety and well-being. I also gained experience caring for a child with autism, which strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to provide individualized care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy engaging children in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, reading stories, outdoor play, educational games, puzzles, music and dancing, imaginative play, and sensory activities, creativity, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel valued, secure, and encouraged to grow. I believe a nanny is more than just a caregiver—it’s someone who builds trust, nurtures confidence, teaches kindness, and helps children reach important milestones while working as a partner with parents. Knowing that I can make a positive difference in a child’s life every day is the most rewarding part of being a nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for a child with autism as an Au Pair. This role taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each child’s unique needs. I supported daily routines, encouraged communication and social interaction, helped with personal care, and created a safe, structured, and positive environment. I adapted activities to match the child’s abilities and interests while promoting independence and celebrating their progress. This experience strengthened my ability to provide compassionate, individualized care and work calmly in challenging situations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was planning a surprise “yes day” filled with fun activities like baking cookies, making crafts, playing hide-and-seek, and ending the day with a movie and homemade popcorn. Seeing the children’s huge smiles and hearing them say it was their “best day ever” made it one of my favorite memories.
Not forgetting having a dance party in the kitchen while making snacks, playing our favorite songs, showed off our funniest dance moves, and laughed the whole time.
