I enjoy caring for kids so much and the few ones I have cared for made me realize how imperative it is to listen to kids, that in particular excites me because I learnt a lot that I didn’t know just by being attentive. This is the skill I have learned to master even with other kids, which made them to relate better with me and take me as their “bestie”. I am naturally a bubbly person and an ice breaker. I believe I’m the most responsible in my friend’s group and family.

Volunteering at an old age home caring for old people with dementia which activated a lot of patience and compassion in me.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Kids love toys but what I have found they enjoy the most is anything in the house that is not a toy or relatable to one. So I enjoy turning whatever I can get in a pantry to an active e.g Food coloring, flour, macaroni, oil etc to creative a science based activity.

There’s a lot of activities i enjoy, from art and craft to anything the child I am caring for enjoys, depending on age and need. This is where my skill of being attentive helps me and the child because it’s not about me but their well-being and development
